Home to the famous "Ronde Van Vlaanderen" our region is paradise for all two-wheeled enthusiasts. Take the Bed & Bikefest as a starting point and explore routes ranging from totally flat along the river Schelde, over softly rolling North of the city and up to the steep killer slopes of the infamous "Koppenberg", "Taaienberg", "Oude Kwaremont" and many more. Most of which lie within a few kilometers distance from the apartement. Dirt loving mountain bikers can get all covered in mud on one of the many dirt roads in the area.

If you're lucky, sometimes (recently 2014 & 2016) you can even experience 'De Ronde' right from the apartement as the route comes through our street (the building is located where you see the yellow house at the end of this movie):

Located at the edge of the city of Oudenaarde this apartment is perfectly accessible by both car and public transport. Within an hour's drive from Brussels, 20 minutes from Ghent and Kortrijk and only 3 hours by car from Paris, Amsterdam or Cologne. The station that is located 10 minutes walking from our place takes you directly to Brussels (& Brussel Airport), Kortrijk, and Ghent and connects quickly to Bruges, the seaside or Antwerp.

The high-speed train connection in Lille, France (45 minutes drive) takes you in two hours to London.
